MMC Updates
The Symphony Band will be performing at the Michigan Music Conference on Jan. 17th 2020. This prestigious honor was offered to 5 high school bands this year and we will be the final high school band performance. Because of this honor there will be additional evening rehearsals and sectionals during the months of November, December, and January. The dates of those rehearsals will be published in the next few weeks.
International Trip Update – Scotland 2021

Marching Band Volunteering
To make sure the band is safe and supported throughout their game day performances, we need many volunteers. Families of Green, Gold, and Symphony Band we you to help us with food donations, equipment support, and safety support (guarding the band from traffic) to and from the band room. We cannot have a successful and safe performance environment without you.

Jazz Band – Swing Central Jazz Festival – Savanah, GA
In the past few days, we have had discussions during jazz band about which jazz festivals to perform at this year. The students were interested in doing one big festival rather than the many around the state that they have been participating in. The Swing Central Jazz Festival which takes place April 1-3 (during spring break), is a national festival that we are interested in applying to. Parents please come to the Jazz Band Capsule Night so we can discuss this opportunity.
